Jigsaws
Mike did a lot of jigsaws while he was here. They turned out to be good for his skin too - when he ran out of them for a few days he ended up with a pressure sore because he sat in one place for too long, whereas when he is doing a jigsaw he is moving about and changing position. So once he had done every jigsaw in the house (of which there were many), Jayne and I made it a mission to keep him supplied. We borrowed them from friends, bought them online, I picked one up from a box outside a house up the road that said "free to good home" and Jayne got them from a work colleague.
And here they are again with a couple more of the Wentworth wooden ones. Completed 17 April.
Another one loaned by Jackie - she has been here on holiday but I can't remember where it is! Completed 14 July.
More wasgijs. Completed 31 August
Four children's jigsaws from a charity shop which Jayne wanted to check were complete! Took Mike about 5 mins to complete all four - 21 November
And another - completed 22 December
It is a good place to do jigsaws as we can set up a large board which is not in the way of anything, so does not have to be moved, the light is very good and Mike can move around and can have several trays of pieces on the go.
So here they are - mainly in the order in which they were done - and the date completed
This one was a present from Carolyn at Christmas. 2000 pieces. Completed 21 March.
I picked this one up in a charity shop before Mike came down and before they all closed. 2000 pieces. Completed 1 April.

And another from Jayne's work friend - took only a few days. 2000 pieces. One piece missing. Completed 15 June.
This one came from the Mare and Foal charity shop - I had seen this one in the window but of course the shop was shut all through lock down. When the restrictions where lifted on non-essential shops, Jayne and I saw the door was open and tried to go in, but the man in there said he was only in there cleaning and the shop wasn't open. So I begged him to sell me the jigsaw in the window - and he did. Completed 23rd June. 2000 pieces - one piece missing.
Another from Jayne's work friend - very busy and reminded me of Enid Blyton illustrations. 1000 pieces completed 27th June.
